The Cottage

Liberty Barn Cottage is situated in the grounds of its Superhosts, Marky and Tracey.

The ground floor features an open-plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy TV lounge with a sofa bed and a wood-burning stove.

Upstairs, the bedroom boasts a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a terrace that provides access to the garden and a private outdoor spa.

There, guests will find a wood-fired hot tub, a sauna, fire pit, a barbecue, outdoor chairs, sun loungers, and a summerhouse. It's a completely secluded spot for stargazing by night and bird-watching by day.

Becky & Joe can’t wait to welcome you to Liberty Barn Cottage within the beautiful setting of Illand.

The Cottage is situated within the grounds of Liberty Barn, where Becky & Joe live, and who are also expecting their first child imminently!

Being on site to provide anything you may need, from advice on great places to eat, the best surf beaches, or even a few geocaching locations, we are able to guide you through to make your stay at Liberty Barn Cottage as enjoyable as possible.

Our Location

You’ll find us in a rural hamlet not far from the ancient market town of Launceston. Please note that you’ll definitely need a car to get around!

Known as the gateway to Cornwall, Launceston is the perfect base from which to explore all that this corner of the country has to offer. Both Bodmin (to the west) and Dartmoor (to the east) are on our doorstep, and we’re also centrally positioned between Cornwall’s north and south coasts and the plentiful beaches they offer. From world-class waves and water sports to chilling out for summer sunset BBQs, Cornwall has a beach for every type of holiday activity.
